One of the most popular hikes in the Superstition Wilderness is the 2.5 mile trail up Peralta Canyon to Fremont Saddle. The route leads into scenic backcountry and offers one of the best views of Weaver's Needle, a landmark rock spire in the center of the Superstion Mountains.
The Freedom (Circumference) Trail is Piestawa Peak's longest trail, winding almost 4 miles around the entire mountain. Less busy than the well-known Summit Trail, the Freedom Trail promises a bit of peace amidst an urban landscape.
